AlKhaleej Takaful Insurance Company was established in 1979 to provide all kinds of conventional insurance and reinsurance services and since then we are proud of the experience and distinguished services we offer for over 40 years. On 2010, it has become a Takaful Insurance company in compliance with Islamic Sharia` principles.

Since its inception, the company has, and still is, contributing to the process of economic progress and development witnessed by the country under its wise leadership, through providing insurance coverage for governmental infrastructure projects, and through insuring assets and property for companies and individuals.

Since its inception, our company has maintained stability, quality and diversity in offering its insurance products to our valued customers, through investing in a team of professionals, exceptional in competence and proficiency in various insurance business lines, which in return helped us to meet the requirements of the fast-growing Qatari market and maintain growth and development in quantity and quality, with the help and support from our reinsurance partners.

The Company is also committed to employ locals with emphasis on Qatarization policy, and to procure from local suppliers to support local businesses and communities.
The company provides insurance coverage for the strategic projects of the State of Qatar in cooperation with other national insurance companies, in pursue to retain the premiums locally and increase financial liquidity within the country, which enhances the company’s financial investments in Qatar, which benefits both the local community and the national economy.
